What is the bleed on a Postcard?
On the Mailfold designing tool, the bleed is the excess space needed around the perimeter for cutting to the final size. The ‘Show Bleed’ button is located on the ‘Postcard Design’ view and also in the ‘Create postcard’ tool.
1. Postcard Design front view
To visualize this space in the ‘Postcard design’ view you just have to click on ‘Show Bleed’. It is located on the ‘Front Design’ preview.
2. Postcard Design back view
To visualize this space in the ‘Postcard design’ view you just have to click on ‘Show Bleed’. It is located on the ‘Back Design’ preview.
3. Create Front Design view
To visualize the bleed on the create front design view, click on ‘Create a front design’.
Then go to the upper corner and click on the rectangle that says ‘Show/Hide Bleed’.
4. Create Back Design view
To visualize the bleed on the create a back design view, click on ‘Create back design’.
Then go to the upper corner and click on the rectangle that says ‘Show/Hide Bleed’.
