How to integrate Salesforce with Mailfold (Zapier)
To integrate your records from Salesforce to send them Direct Mail through Mailfold, follow this tutorial.
1. Go to CONTACTS
On the dashboard, click on ‘Contacts’.
2. Click on INTEGRATIONS or INTEGRATION
Now on the ‘Contacts’ view, go to the menu located on the right side of the screen. Then you can either click on ‘+Add contacts’ and then click on ‘Integrations’. Or click on the ‘Integration’ button.
The ‘Integrations’ view will appear if you click on any of them.
3. Click on LEARN MORE
On the Automate with Zapier square, click on ‘Learn More’.
4. Create ZAP
The Zapier window will show up, now you have to click either on ‘Create Zap’ or Start creating your workflow.
5. Select Salesforce
It is time to connect the first app. To do so, click on the left blank rectangle and search for ‘Salesforce’. Select Salesforce to start the integration.
6. Select Mailfold
Then select Mailfold, to be able to connect Salesforce with it.
7. Select Action
Once you have finished with the apps, select the events. Find the first event that needs to happen, in this case, ‘New Record’.
8. Select Second Action
This is the action that will appear on Mailfold. In this case, select ‘Create contact’. Anytime a new record is registered in Salesforce, automatically will appear on Mailfold. When you are done, click on ‘Try it’.
9. Click on GET STARTED
A preview of the next steps will be shown. Click on ‘Get started’ to begin.
10. Connect Salesforce Account
The next step is to connect your Salesforce account. To do so, click on ‘Connect’.
A new window will be open. It is time to give access to Zapier. Click on the blank space.
Then, select ‘production’.
On the next view, click on ‘Allow’. This will give access to your Salesforce account to Zapier.
11. Click on NEXT
Once you can visualize your Salesforce account, click on ‘Next’.
12. Select Object
It is time to select the Salesforce information you are gonna take to Mailfold. To do so, click on the search rectangle.
Type ‘contact’, then, click on ‘Contact’.
Once ‘Contact’ is selected.
13. Click on NEXT
Now click on ‘Next’ to continue with the workflow.
14. Connect Mailfold Account
Now connect your Mailfold account with Zapier. Select it and as soon as you have your email account on the screen, click on ‘Next’.
15. Select Fields
Now, select the fields you want to include in Mailfold. This will be the information contained in the list that will be created on Mailfold.
16. Click on NEXT
Once you have selected all the fields, click on ‘Next’.
17. Map fields
It is the moment to map the information from Salesforce into Mailfold. To do that, click on every blank rectangle.
Then select the respective information for each blank.
18. Name Contacts List
Once all the information is mapped, name your contacts list. This name will be displayed on your Mailfold list.
19. Click on NEXT
Once you have your list name ready, click on ‘Next’.
20. Click on SEND TEST
If all the information is correct, click on ‘Send test’.
A message will be displayed on the screen telling that the Test was sent.
21. Check Mailfold
To check if the test was sent, go to the Mailfold dashboard and click on ‘Contacts’.
Then check if the list was created and has the name you assigned to it.
22. Click on NEXT
Once you have checked that the test worked, click on ‘Next’.
23. Click on TURN ON ZAP
Now it is time to turn on your workflow. To do that, click on ‘Turn on Zap’.
This message will appear on the screen. Now your zap is on, and your contacts from Salesforce will be automatically exported to Mailfold.
