How to use the prospecting tool

Prospecting can be life-changing for your business. Learn how to use this Mailfold Premium tool here.

The prospecting tool will be available after creating a Campaign and Design. 

1. Click on CREATE PROSPECTING 

To create your prospecting, click on ‘Create Prospecting’ on the Mailing List view. You need to have already created your campaign and respective designs.

2. Choose target

On the Create Prospecting view, you can find three options, first, the Mailing list. In this one, you have to choose and click on the option of whom do you want to target, individuals or businesses.

3. Select Geography Location

The second option is Geography. Here you can type the zip, county, street, started, or name of the city you want to target. Also, you can type a specific address and add a record amount. In this case, it is a city.

You can also ‘Add Radius’ to the city or address you are prospecting.

After selecting the location, you can visualize how many records are there and the database price.

4. Select Demography

The last option is ‘Demography’. Here you can access a lot of options to target your prospects. Click on the ones that match your potential buyers.

5. Click on APPROVE CHOICES 

Once you have selected all your options, click on ‘Approve choices’.

As soon as you click on ‘Approve choices’ you can visualize the number of records and calculated price of the database.

6. Click on SAVE 

Once you are okay with your selections, click on ‘Save’.

7. Check Billing Summary

After clicking on ‘Save’, the Billing Summary will appear. There you can visualize the cost of your prospecting list. Now you just need to run your campaign.

If you want to target a certain amount of records… 

1. Click on CREATE PROSPECTING

In this option you have to put a specific address. This way you could be able to Add Records Amount.

Also you need to ‘Add Radius’ to the specific address you are using to create your prospecting list. 

After typing the address and location, you can ‘Add Records Amount’.

4. Select Demography

The last option is ‘Demography’. Here you can access a lot of options to target your prospects. Click on the ones that match your potential buyers.

5. Click on APPROVE CHOICES 

Once you have selected all your options, click on ‘Approve choices’.
